USING THE ASSESSMENT WEBSITE

DISCOVERING PARCELS, COMPARABLES, AND SALES

This page gives you access to assessment data for all parcels in the Town of Marshfield. In order to better familiarize yourself with obtaining information, begin with printing your record card. That will give you many of the codes you need to search for comparable assessments and sales.

General searches: Look up the property record card for any property by Street Address, Owner Name, or Parcel Number at the HOME tab. Just a few letters in the search fields will begin to produce results in those fields.

To print your card: Click the Parcel ID in column 1 of the report. When the card comes up, click the Printable Record Card tab. The record will be in a printable status. Right-click to print. If you want to print all the values on your street (or any street), click Print page 1 of 1 located directly below the blue search boxes in the center of the page.

Comparable assessments: You can find properties in the Town similar to yours in building type, year built, finished area, or other attributes. As an example: If you own a 1200-square-foot ranch built in 1965, putting "ranch" in the Building type field will produce a list of all ranches in town. Adding "1950- 1975" in the Year built fields and "1000-1800" in the Fin size fields will produce a printable report for all ranches built between 1950 and 1975, with finished area in the 1000-1800 square foot range. You can refine your report further, if you wish.
